Due to lack of training and development opportunities, many youths in Africa become frustrated in attempt to find purposeful employment and many eventually loose hope and tend to crime or other self-destructive habits. African Foundation for Climate Change and Sustainable Development (AFCCSD) have taken the offensive and is tackling the skill shortage head-on. This project will provide skill training on computer, internet, computer languages and programming (coding) free of charge to under privilege youths in Africa. The primary demographic focus is unemployed,unskilled young people from disadvantage minorities.
The objective of this project is to create employment opportunities for unemployed and vulnerable youths in our African communities to establish their social and economic empowerment.
The first phase of the project will be carried out in Ashaiman, Ghana, west Africa. Two hundred (200) unemployed and vulnerable youths will benefits from this project.
AFCCSD is motivated to start this project in order to infuse hope and give these idealistic and desperate young people a real chance of a better and fulfilling life before its too late and they give up hope on themselves. To read more about this project, click here.
