AFCCSD with thirty (30) volunteers from Netherlands tree planting Exercise at Ningo Prampram

About Event

AFCCSD welcomed volunteers from the Netherlands joined hands with our local community in an act of environmental stewardship that transcends borders and cultures. These volunteers traveled thousands of miles, not as tourists, but as partners in our shared mission to combat climate change and build a sustainable future for our children by planting mango seedlings at New Ningo in the Greater Accra Region.

The choice of mango trees is very important for many uses. They stand for hope, sustenance, and resilience. The trees will serve as natural carbon sinks, and also help to purify our air and mitigate the effects of climate change. As they grow, they will provide shade for the communities, creating cool environments and demonstrating the practical benefits of environmental conservation.

AFCCSD is glad to champion this initiative and look forward to more collaborations from local and International organizations
